Digital Account Manager

CUMULUS MEDIA | Westwood One, New York, NY is seeking an ambitious Digital Account Manager to help us scale Westwood One Podcast Network – the fastest growing podcast network in America! We’re looking for someone that is detail oriented, thrives in a team environment but also able to dive in on individual tasks. A love of podcasting and sales doesn’t hurt, as this role involves interfacing with podcast talent and advertisers.

Responsibilities:

  • Deliver best-in-class customer service to high premier podcast advertising customers, agency partners, and internal cross-functional groups
  • Review and book insertion orders, secure campaign assets, traffic audio assets, and implement ad tags
  • Lead client communication and provide ongoing comprehensive in-flight reporting related to ad experiences, delivery, and optimization
  • Troubleshoot campaign performance related to technical bugs, third party discrepancies, and under-delivery issues 
  • Support sales and optimize for full campaign delivery by generating delivery reporting, highlighting key data points and providing recommendations to sales, their clients, and agency partners
  • Manage podcast schedules for content delivery and ads based on timing requested by advertisers
  • Process new orders in our billing system and handle project management flow
  • Build insertion orders for show producers
  • Ensure hosts have up-to-date talking points for ads
  • Send air checks to agencies when requested
  • Provide detailed, clear and concise reports to advertisers showing proof of performance
  • Liaise with sales executives, ad agencies, and client partners on campaign execution with a high level of customer service

Qualifications:

  • 1-2 years experience building digital media plans (preferably managing multiple publishers but we are open to entry level)
  • Comfortable working and engaging with various levels of talent as well as advertisers and agencies
  • Strong attention to detail, thorough, accountable, excellent follow-through
  • Able to juggle multiple tasks, prioritize responsibilities, and keep excellent time management
  • Exceptional organizational skills
  • Proven ability to work well within a team environment while accomplishing individual projects
  • Strong Excel and PowerPoint and written word skills required
