Graphic Designer: Junior-level

Department: Promotions/Marketing
Location: New York, NY

CUMULUS MEDIA | New York City, NY has an immediate opening for a Junior-level Graphic Designer to join our Corporate Marketing creative team to focus on graphic design, web design and production. In this role, you'll be working side by side with our Creative Director and lead Graphic Designer. You'll get a chance to work on some really cool projects under CUMULUS MEDIA’s umbrella of exclusive brands/partnerships. If you're a recent graphic design graduate or have 1 - 2 years of experience working at an agency or for a b2b company, you should apply.  

Scope of projects will span from creative work with branding & logos, web graphics, marketing collateral, event & experiential design and campaign development/design and end-to-end audio, print, digital and video production.  Candidates must be passionate about audio, digital, podcasts, news/talk, sports & entertaiment or be willing to immerse themselves immediately into these environments.
 

Qualifications:

  • Have 1-2 years design experience, preferably in the web and social media
  • Skilled in Adobe Suite. (Photoshop, Illustrator, and Indesign)
  • Are adept at using the Microsoft Office & Powerpoint
  • Have a strong design aethestic but responsive to staff and client feedback
  • Follow brand guidelines to ensure a consistent creative direction
  • Can manage project time accurately with adherence to edits & deadlines
  • Can manage several projects at any given time
  • Care about your work and present it with confidence
  • Have a sophisticated handle on typography, layout, and color
  • Excellent follow-through and organizational skills
  • Have the ability to manage project budgets and timelines
  • Are comfortable creating some motion graphics and animation
  • Photography and video editings skills are a plus
  • Other tasks may apply
